Get into the spirit of fall, winter, spring or summer by arranging one of these easy to make centerpieces. They are festive additions to your home decor and they also make great gifts.

Follow these simple tips for making gorgeous seasonal centerpieces (see photos below for ideas):

Scope out your local craft store or online craft retailer for deep discounts on seasonal flowers and embellishments. For example, you can usually fall flowers pretty cheap after Halloween. You can buy more for less and have a beautiful centerpiece for the following year.

Evaluate colors outside and in decorations that signify the particular season that you will be creating a centerpiece for. For example, try daisies and soft pastel flowers for a spring arrangement.

Great for spring and summer!

A hot pink centerpiece can add a pop of color to a neutral room. For this project, you will need a half sphere of floral foam, a wooden platter or plate, and hot pink flowers of your choice. Here's how you do it:

1. Snip the flower stems to the same length.

2. Cut the floral foam to the height of desired centerpiece.

3. Starting at the bottom of the centerpiece, insert flowers into foam. Be sure to cover up all spots where the foam may be seen.

4. Place arrangement on a decorative platter.

Perfect for fall!

Celebrate the vibrant colors of fall with this fun pumpkin arrangement. Add plastic fruit, scarecrows or craft birds for an extra harvest touch.

1. Cut top off of craft pumpkin. I cut mine in a circle about an inch from the stem.

2. Insert a piece of craft foam to fit the bottom of the pumpkin.

3. Add flowers, decorative grasses, cattails, plastic fruit or whatever else reminds you of fall. Finish by wrapping the top of the pumpkin with raffia.

Impress your Thanksgiving dinner guests with this festive Thanksgiving cornucopia centerpiece. Not hosting Thanksgiving this year? This centerpiece makes a great host/hostess gift.

1. Start by hot gluing Spanish moss to the inside bottom of the cornucopia. You want to make sure that a bit of the moss is showing.

2. Next, position your turkey and larger plastic pieces (pumpkin, pear, apples, etc.). Glue down using a hot glue gun.

3. Finally, fill in any blank spaces with fall foliage and fall flowers. I used a variety of faux fall flowers that I picked up from my local craft store.

TIP: You can add floral lights to this to brighten it up. Simply tuck the lights around the flowers after you have finished the arrangement.

Makes a great holiday gift!

These holiday arrangements make great gifts. Just make sure you give them before the holiday so the recipient can enjoy them for the whole month.

1. Use a half sphere of floral foam for this arrangement.

2. Place a variety of winter flowers and berries in the foam starting at the top middle. I used plastic pears as well.

3. Insert evergreen and other leafy greenery toward the bottom of the arrangement.

4. As an extra touch, place white holiday lights in the arrangement or place on a decorative plate.
